I have to admit, I love candles. I love watching the fire waver from a soft breeze and as a kid would stick my finger (and still do) in the melted wax. But I was reading how some candles are bad because of the toxic smoke from the chemicals it takes to make the smells. So, I started to gather stuff from Michaels to make my own. I wanted to know the different textures when making candles, so I used bee’s wax and soy wax. I found lavender essential oil and the flowers to put in the candles.
What was I thinking?
The cost and mess to make candles when I could have bought a perfectly good one like this one…with crystals. Anyone want a candle making kit? Anyone?
